Pyramid Gallery

Pyramid Gallery is a privately-owned shop and gallery in the heart of medieval York. Established in 1980, Pyramid offers one of the country's finest selections of British-made contemporary crafts, jewellery and original prints.

On two floors of a fifteenth century building, the gallery is selected for the National List of Craft Shops and Galleries. It displays work by many leading designers and makers who work in Glass, Ceramics, Wood and Metal as well as work by fifty designer jewellers.

New artists and makers are encouraged to show their work at Pyramid Gallery and a good selection of recent graduates from the many art colleges are usually represented.

When selecting new makers, our main criteria are for quality and originality of design. Each piece reflects the individuality and character of the artist.

The gallery features new artists every six to eight weeks in temporary exhibitions.
