Godfrey & Watt

Established in 1985, Godfrey & Watt stocks a constantly changing range of ceramics, jewellery, original prints, wood, glass and sculpture. In addition, four or five special exhibitions are mounted each year which usually focus on the work of an individual artist or maker. Recent exhibitors have included John Maltby and Michael Casson. All the work is personally selected from British artists and makers some of whom are well-established names, while others are emerging talents.

The gallery has built an excellent reputation both locally and nationally as a place to find fine, individually made work at a wide range of prices. We are selected for the National List of Craft Shops and Galleries and operate the 'Artloan' Interest-free Credit Purchase Scheme run by Yorkshire Arts.
